Should I install a gas or a wood-burning fire pit?

Comments

Even though the weather might be warm right now, it’s almost time for cool evenings. A fire pit is a great addition to any backyard! It is a great place to spend time together looking at the stars or making s’mores. Not only are traditional wood-burning fire pits an option, but gas fire pits are also a great new option! So now the question is, which one is the best option for you and your family?
If you are looking for the traditional option and love the thought of throwing another log on the fire, then a wood-burning fire pit is the one for you. You can build a fire from scratch and watch the sparks fly. A wood-burning fire pit is the least expensive option and requires less installation time.

Another option is a gas fire pit. This is a great option if you love the thought of gathering around the fire, but don’t want the mess. No logs to throw on the fire and you won’t walk away smelling like a campfire. This option is more expensive and will require a long installation. It also requires a gas hook-up to be put in, if you don’t have an existing one. At the end of a long day, all that is required is a flip of a switch to enjoy a lovely fire in the fire pit.
No matter which option you choose, a fire pit as a great addition. We are able to install wood-burning or gas fire pits at ALL Outdoors!

If you have any questions about installing a fire pit, drop us a comment, send us a message or give us a call. We will be happy to answer any of your questions!
